Outlander 2-5 Untimely Resurrection Thoughts
Another awesome episode! Definitely moving forward really quickly and the rollercoaster ride on emotions this ep was CRAZY!!! The loving relationship between Jamie and Claire in the beginning was so sweet and the "Don't touch me" at the end was just so heartbreaking :'(
[Spoiler (click to open)]I felt a bit exasperated with Claire for assuming that just because Alex and Mary marry, that's going to change the future with regard to Frank. It seems rather stupid actually. Mary would have met Alex at the King's palace without Claire being there, and that's when they fell in love. Plus she should have found it significant that Alex and Black Jack are brothers. Of course it is all part of the story and no harm has been done anyway. It's one of those things that I just have to bite my fist and bear LOL!
The first scene between Claire and Jack in front of Annalise was so charged and intense!
I LOVED the scene between King Louis and Jack! As well as the conversation between Jamie and Jack - talking in front of the king without looking each other in the face. King Louis complementing Claire on her flawless French and making fun of Jack was hilarious!

Murtagh swears to get revenge
Claire telling Mary that she most probably is not pregnant - that the brigand was "not able to finish."
Claire wondering if she should burn the letter to let Alex out of the Bastille
The Prince tells Jamie that the Count is interested in some business and that the Prince leaves the details to Jamie and the Count.
Claire tells Alex that he should not marry Mary - on the assumption that if they married, Mary would never marry Black Jack.
"My memory is as long as yours. When I find the man responsible, he'll die a very slow, and very painful death."
"I do love you..."
"I love you too."
This little talk between Claire and Jamie about motherhood was a lovely salute to Mother's Day

I LAUGHED when Claire swore!!! "F... the King!" Not JUST because the King was right behind them, but just thinking of Black Jack's preferences
Good thing the King didn't hear her, and this scene again was so funny. But also meaningful that the King is partial to Prince Charles. He'd be interested in that alliance definitely.
