to understand why we stand

straying from my path

to improve students' standards
and maybe I failed

looking for new work
I took my experience
and learning from it!

in the end I know
I did the best I could have
with what they gave me

life is not over
it just has only begun
and it gets better!

With each passing day
I'm looking for that foothold
for where I belong

an upward battle
ME charging in guns blazing
I'm armed with knowledge!

Livin like a star!
finding my new school-home-niche
living the good life

Grading papers now
a never ending battle
but LOADS of great fun!

Second week battle
it was a nightmarish time
thank god it's over!

First week is over
and I've never been so tired
but it was worth it!

Overwhelmed by fear
and filled with uncertainty
tomorrow it ends!

After this weekend
I take that one step closer
where adulthood starts

the summer heat brings
fresh faces and ideas
and heated romance
