sometimes you think about how good it will be to see someone
someone you haven't seen in quite awhile
then you see them and all of the waiting is over
and you realize they're just as boring as they were then
same stupid habits that bore you to tears
you don't want to be rude
but you wonder why you even know them at all

what did we ever share in

some days i just want to melt away into an ocean's tide and other days i'd like all the attention

those phone calls, well they're haunting me

life keeps going on and we keep getting older, yet nothing has changed

who are we, will we be a year from now, five years from now, 6 months from now?

i won't change the locks if you won't.
