Wow! I am SO IMPRESSED with you. You did a great job, and you look amazing in that post-race pic. Hope you feel ok. Bubble bath and Motrin, maybe? :)

Thanks, Elaine! :) Yes, bubble baths and medication have been my friends for the past two days. I made it downstairs this morning without groaning, so I guess I'm on the road to recovery.

Awesome job, SuperGal (indeed!)!!! You looked great - sorry that you had what sounds like a foot/leg cramp (?) during the last bit but so glad you made it. That's a long way to run (three miles) in discomfort/pain like that. Way to hang in there. And your mom is hilarious... :-) "violent stomach flu" - I would have been like, "and you can stay up there and keep your germs to yourself, then! and come back when you all feel better."

Thanks Kerri! I was proud of my persistance, because there were definitely a few times where I thought, "I can't take another step!" Whew. I can't even imagine how you felt after your marathon.

Mom is such a goof. Apparently she got my dad and brother w the same scheme, the little trickster!

Lauren, I am SOOOO proud of you! That's SUPER! (heh...)

I know you have been training so hard for this and you did it! You set your mind to do something, worked towards it, and accomplished it. That takes a lot of dedication and discipline. Congrats.

Thank you, Beth!!! I am so happy now that the next time I run, it will just be for the joy of running with no pressure on time and distance.

Congratulations! You are seriously tough, to push through that pain and finish the race strong. And you look great in your finish picture to boot! ;) I hope you're feeling a bit better today. :)

Your mom is too funny. :)

Boy, I didn't feel very photogenic, but thanks!! That made my day. I'm definitely improving daily.
