Used (shiny) Solar car shade (the ones that fold out accordion style onto the dashes of your cars) I am thinking of sewing a bunch together and make a solar shield for my camping tent in the hopes of getting some additional morning sleep out in the playa. I thought about the Hexayurt, one thing Kaqimax detests dingy dark areas with no windows (even in burningman) so it would be hard to entice her to come inside. And the other reason being that this is probably my last dance out there, this should be good closure for me.

HAve you checked out the shiny silver tarps? They are long-lasting, HArdy and don't shed blue filaments like the blue tarps.
It would probably be easier and quicker to alter into an acceptable sHApe.
