Slow Cooked Carnitas Tacos

This.. as most slow-cooked meats are, was REALLY good. I altered the recipe a little based on what we had at home, and made a quick salsa to accompany it. Served them alongside some spanish-style rice and it was a great meal. The meat/toppings were also good served on the rice itself, or adding the rice to the taco. Either way, it was all good.

yeah, me too,.. I really shouldn't post food things when I'm already hungry and ready to go find dinner!

I love pretty much anything in the slow cooker :) but especially pulled pork and other recipes like that! Another benefit is the lack of clean-up after!

Thanks! It was - very flavorful. I think we could have just eaten the pork alone and been happy. :)

I'm pretty certain that this is the same recipe my mum and I made three times in the last couple months-- we never ended up using the meat in the soft shells-- we ended up picking the slow cooker dry! DELICIOUS <3
