I'm going to cross post this in a couple of places.. FYI! We've been watching some Food Network lately and I've become partially addicted to the cake decorating contests. Ha, that is awesome. Also, Hershey's "Perfectly Chcolate" cake is my favorite for an easy, reliable chocolate cake. :)

Mine too!!!! on the SELDOM time he would bake something my dad used to make it for me when I was little, it's what I would request every year for my birthday! (chocolate cake with chocolate frosting!) So easy yet soooo good :)

I wish I could do that, sadly I not artistically inclined in anyway shape or form. I can make a straight line with a ruler crooked. AWESOME CAKE!

How come I still haven't seen this show that everyone talks about?! I've seen Ultimate Cake CHallenge which is awesome, but when is ace of cakes on?!!! I'd love to see it!

Don't feel bad, my dad is the same way, though my mom has some artistic talent in her (not for cakes though!) :D

Ya know.. a lot of people just use cookie cutters for their fondant! You could definitely do that!

It was! It was sort of like using play dough or sculpey. You could make bigger thicker shapes or stretch/roll it out into teeny tiny details. I'm definitely going to use it again!
