spinach quesadilla ^^

hello ^^ I adore this community, so I thought I'd finally contribute something. I haven't been cooking for long, but I'd really like to learn - my dad loves it when I can make my own supper, as well as for him and my little sister =D quesadillas are one of my favorite things, and they're really simple of course~ I made this tonight for my friend, who thought it was delicious >w<

ingredients ♥
-2 thick tortillas - not the translscent kind! they're yummy, but won't hold anything more than cheese well ^^ I used whole wheat, these are sturdy and good for you :) but flour is always great too, of course.
-shredded cheese (I usually use the store-bought Mexican kind, though if you grate your own queso, I recommend cheddar x3)
-frozen spinach, no sauce (again, Kroger's bounty @_@; this is probably your best bet, tastes much better than canned and takes just 3 minutes!)
-toppings of choice! I just have a spoonful of sour cream here, it's really delicious with the spinach; but whatever you like on your quesadillas works 8D

Directions
1. set the burner to medium high, spray the pan with vegetable oil when it's warm - or butter, margarine, whatever you prefer :3
2. put the first tortilla on, let the outside brown some - then sprinkle as much cheese as you want on top (two or three handfuls is best to me)
3. spread the spinach evenly (go figure XD;) I usually try to use half a box for each quesadilla, but if you're really crazy about it, just use any amount ^^ it's super healthy of course! ♥
4. sprinkle a little more cheese on top for adhesive, then put the other tortilla on - when it's melted together enough, flip over to brown the other side
5. when you've got it the way you like it, just cut it accordingly and top with whatever you want ^_^ one quesadilla per person for dinner, but they're good as snacks too if you want to share. of course, if you want, you can halve the ingredients and just make a fold-over version ^_^

you could probably throw some meat in there if you like, I bet chicken would be good - or maybe some scrambled tofu, if you're vegetarian like me. :3 I feel pretty silly for posting such an easy dish, but there ya go! XD;
