Mandolin vs Mandolin Shrinivas

I was about to leave to Chennai this weekend to pickup my Electric Mandolin that I had ordered a while ago and just in time I get to know about the Ramanavami concerts in Bangalore where U.Shrinivas and U.Rajesh are doing a 'duet' concert this Saturday.

I had to postpone my train tickets ( Read more... )

ROTFL!
Said the master to the disciple: "You are a student. So am I. What distinguishes us is that you think me to be the master."

ROTFLMAO!

The tickets are available at the venue and are issued before the commencement of the concert. Do you want me to purchase on for you as well?

Fair fair.

BTW, U Srinivas and U Rajesh are playing here in NYC on May 5th. Can't hardly wait ... :)

Very nice. I'm guessing, by now, you've already finished listening to my entire collection? :)

Actually no. Far from it.
Your MSS collection (esp. the Carnatic Concert 1/2 and Balaji Pancharatnamala) is so distractingly amazing that most of the rest of your collection is still unchartered.

:) Carnatic Concert-1/2 is amazing, isn't it? I must have listened to 'Tsallare' over 40 times now since I bought it. :D Let me warn you that Sangeet Sartaj / Raga Sangamam could be equally addictive once you have started hearing it :)

OT: I wish, iPods maintained some sort of a history of all the clock-times at which songs have been played so I could generate listening statistics ("evening/work/travel music", "many-times-in-a-day music", etc.,.). I can still put my GNUPod file into CVS and generate this history ;) but it requires a religious practice of connecting the ipod regularly to 'cvs commit' the file :)
