If you say speakers, the first thing which comes to my mind is Arvind's 6000W music system. Poor guy; he invited us and we broke his music system's speaker. And we all got a big glass of Chikku juice for that as well :(.
It would live with my existing crappy "Aiwa" system for a while

... and his speakers is 6000W "PMPO" (PMPO isn't a very scientific term, anyway). I think each of his speakers are like 50W RMS and everything is of course, "commercial" and "for the public" stuff by Sony. Not really an audio phile system. The ones I'm planning to buy is like 70W RMS and one big 150W RMS sub-woofer :->

Do you have any suggestions that I can test-drive in Bangalore? (How is Sonodyne? I found a lot of differences in sound quality between their floor-standing systems vs the 2.1 systems (obviously, the 2.1 systems sounding more 'bassy' and unreal)). I found their two speaker systems not _that_ great for the price and the 'WAF'.
