Been to madras. My cousin 'Satya' was getting married there. Weird consciousness, i had. Looks like depression? I haven't ever experienced 'depression' to this level. I wasn't socialising properly. Her friends were all like "Hey, Suraj! Hi!" (seems she has told a lot about me to all her friends). But I was so fscked up that I couldn't talk well to ( Read more... )

Dude, take a break. The last thing you want is a burnout. Take a week off, ditch the internet, and take off to a place like coonor where you can chill out. Just reboot. Work will go on without you.

Madras and its associated pleasures... vigneshvg May 16 2005, 00:48:06 UTC
That being cute, crush-worthy cousins (of whom, I'm sure all of us have many a story ;) ). Odysseeeyyy !!! Man its been agees since I went there ! And need I say more about weddings ? Having recently been to one gala event (though not a tambram one - those are special !! ), I'm reeling after the socializing overdose. Though I was hard pressed to find ONE 'intersting' person to talk to out of about 2000 guests !

*sigh* I miss my family's weddings... and whats worse, mine (whenever that is) will be next. That ain't going to be ANY fun, whatsoever !!!

I didn't like Prasanna too much myself.

What reasons? I have my own reasons... His alapanai could improve, is my humble opinion, he sometimes seems to be 'missing out' on keeping up with the talam too.

I don't like the new sound Mandolin Srinivas has now either.

I didn't know that there is a "new sound". All I know is this tone (816KB) which I seem to like a lot. If this isn't the "new tone" you are talking about, let me know what it is if you could give me an mp3 sample or something :)

I guess you should not take a break from work unless it spoils your health otherwise. To forget about something which makes you feel depressed, you need to concentrate on something else which interests you. I don't think you would be concentrate on anything else better than your work(don't tell me your work makes you feel depressed ( ... )
