I watched "about" 5 movies during this weekend:

The Day After Tomorrow - About global warming and its consequences -- too dramatic / exagerrate (a la Deep Impact). But still not a bad movie. Cute female.

Independance Day - LOL! dudes, Don't fuck with my satellite(s). I will upload viruses onto your mother ship. and hey, I can fly an F16 with ( Read more... )

Rs. 40/- ?

that is wicked cheap. i wish all movies here were rentable at that price.

not everything in fahrenheit 9/11 was true. the whole point of the movie was to make bush look stupid, which was hillarious. I dislike bush immensly and that movie just made me more angrier. And stupid Michael Moore because many bluthering idiots believed in what he says, when Moore was just making big bucks off of the stupid political situation. quite smart, but stupid.

Completely agree. It was too biased and "funny" (the music, the narration. The most masala of all "documentaries").

What next? I gotta go rent out 'Aparajito' and 'Pather Panchali' and ... dump them onto my disk :D (no, these "rare" movies are not rentable from these "Rs.40/-" video shops. I would have to rent out the "original").

I havent seen it either.

Ive heard about that movie, Requiem for a dream. People warned me its a thinking movie, i dont know why... Its like people just stay away from that genre, but I like those type. Ive had enough of the senseless action films or romance. Its just a bore. Many tamil movies... argh. i just avoid them. Its poison for the mind. I swear every time i see one, my IQ drops. One tamil movie i didnt mind was Indira, I loved that movie.

still, the best movie ever has to be CROUCHING TIGER HIDDEN DRAGON!!!!

Yes, Rs.40/- and its pirated (I guess). Firstly I heard that the DVD whatever standard requires a movie to be atleast 6GB or something. So I guess this is some sort of a 'hack' to put multiple movies into one DVD.
