well, we're about 2 weeks away from heading overseas and I"m starting to think about what I'm going to have to bring. We went out this weekend and bought a backpack for me. ( Backpack details under the cut )
Eep...I'm a list kind of girl too, and this is a tough one!
I'd say 2 pairs of jeans, 2 pairs of not jeans, a skirt and/or dress, some tops you can layer (ie cardigans, tanks, t-shirts) so you can get more days wear out of them - mix & match, med weight jacket, light weight jacket (both water repellant), sweaters, shampoo, conditioner, face wash, soap, any other misc toiletries. Umm...any medicine type products you can take on a plane and might need (tylenol, gravol, immodium, cold meds, etc) they may be hard to find over there? One of those passport holder things to keep your id/money in that isn't your travel pack (I've seen ones that go under your clothes, just in case) Things like nail clippers (not on the plane obviously), chap stick, hand cream, dental floss...don't take up a lot of room but make life a lot more comfortable when you need them! Books, magazines, mp3 player, games (puzzle or mini-travel) for keeping yourself occupied.
That looks like a great list. I made up my list as my students were writing their exam last night and we lot a lot of the same stuff. Yay us! ;)

These are great ideas! I hadn't thought of them before. Thanks Tracey! :D
