Can't Sleep
“Are you awake?”
“I am now,” Ron grumbled, burying his head further into his pillow.
“Sorry, I-“
“Hermione?” He blinked up at her, not sure if he was dreaming.
“I’ll go.”
“No.” He sat up in bed, rubbing his eyes. “I thought you were- well, not you.”
“So it’s good that it’s me?” she asked shyly.
“Hell yeah.”
She smiled at him. He cleared his throat, embarrassed.
“Did you want something?”
She fidgeted with her pyjama bottoms. “I couldn’t sleep.”
“Nightmares?”
She nodded.
“Well, if you want company you can stay here,” he offered.
She smiled. “That would be nice.”
