I can't really talk about it without getting all gushy and incoherent, but the slices of life you chose to show, the word choice, the way you describe things- you're a real writer and it shows, and... this is going to sound weird, and I'm actually not trying to flatter you, but there is a very Adelle DeWitt-like elegance to it. Like, a cool, sophisticated glamour.
Fact: thou art the kindest person ever! Busting out an Adelle comparison of any sort immediately makes it THE GREATEST OF PRAISE. And from what I recall re: writing this, my weird Gaius Baltar channeling was weirdly similar to my Adelle DeWitt channeling for Dollhouse fic! They felt rather similar to write. This is undoubtedly due to the great cylon/spylon similarity.
I have a crazy amount of your fics saved under various headers in my memories- so many that sometimes I space on them. Like Dragonfly! I really love Dragonfly! Rats.
