She’d been there with Nick and Stephen, no matter how free of her they’d fancied themselves in the end. Becker had been an unexpected conquest, the cherry on top, so to speak.

They’re all dead now, two she shot herself.

Now there’s someone new in her bed. Handsome, strong, yet broken
