The hushed voices and tiptoeing around annoys Sam even more than Cutter’s pained expression, as if he was the only one who lost Stephen, so she pulls and pushes everyone, driving the dagger deeper in every wound, watching them crumble in front of her eyes. And they let her, silently acknowledging her right to hurt, and she hates it,
