This must be a joke, Sullivan thinks staring at the official notification in his hand. Surely they can’t be serious. It must have been one of Lyle’s fucked up ideas, but surely no one objected. Bentley was probably just smiling forgivingly in the background like at a bunch of kids.
A locker is opens not far from him and he looks up to see Connor’s huge grin.
“Don’t look at me, mate, I voted for Lester.”
Oh well, Dave Sullivan shrugs, worse things have happened to people than having a highly intelligent and dangerous future predator being named after them.
