Love Hina Question

Marvel and I are watching Love Hina on anime nights right now, and he's having a hell of a time finding the music that plays in the background whenever "wackiness ensues"--or a lot of the other upbeat music, for that matter. Did the American company (we're watching the licensed DVDs) that put out Love Hina not get the licensing for the original

OMG I forgot to comment to your puppy post, didn't I? What a great name! I LOVE Shiba Inus, my grandfather has one and it was the first time I saw them, but they're SO SOFT, oh my God. BTW, his name is "Buddy", but I wanted to name him "Ryu"--and now that I've heard the word Kitsune, I always said that's what I'd name one. Yours is so cute!!

Bandai put out the Love Hina anime in the Us but for reasons I can't begin to image, Geneon has a Love Hina CD:

No, that's very helpful, thank you! We'll check eBay--we're actually looking for the non-vocal background music (I guess "score" is the right word?)

I haven't watched the US release, but I *think* I have CD's of the fan subs I got a few years back. If nothing else you could sample a couple and see if the music matches.

hmmm...I have the first 3 DVDs as well as most of the movies...Love Hina is a great anime...

As for the album, i eMule-ed a copy of it recently...try the p2p networks...

We borrowed the box set from our friend Wynand, but I'm liking it so much I think I'm going to buy it myself. :)

We did try searching online, but mostly all Marvel found were the vocal selections. Do you know what the background "wackiness ensues" music might've been called? (Do you know which one I mean? It's the most often heard background music in Love Hina, it's kind of upbeat and kind of...electronic sounding, I don't know how else to describe it.)
