Love Hina Question

Marvel and I are watching Love Hina on anime nights right now, and he's having a hell of a time finding the music that plays in the background whenever "wackiness ensues"--or a lot of the other upbeat music, for that matter. Did the American company (we're watching the licensed DVDs) that put out Love Hina not get the licensing for the original music of Love Hina, and put in their own, and that's why we can't find it? All Marvel can find are these slow ballads. Anyone know?
