As I finish up college, I'm starting to roll the things that I've learned here... life experiences... over and over in my head. One of these things has been the question of "what if".

Here's a little of what I have learned about it, and what I would like to share with you:

Really, the only true answer to "what if" is just to roll with it. No matter what, you'll deal with the consequences and go on with life. That's just the way it is. You, of all people, are smart enough to where, if you do get stuck in a situation, you have the ability to get out of it.

What if the worst situation in the world were to ever happen to you? What IF everything you worked for was naught? Well then ya know what, you move on, start working at life again, and go with what you have. Part of being successful includes having the ability to pick yourself up from complete failure.

Wow, Josh. That was just about the coolest comment ever. Thank you for it. Really, though, after venting last night and stumbling around today getting my bearings, I feel much better. For some reason, things always look really ugly and impossible late at night. I talked to some people and I think I'll be just fine. Thank you for bringing me to my senses, though; everything you said is quite true...it's not the end of the world as I know it, no matter how things go.

Are you almost done at UW?

You bet. I have today, then all of next week. After that, I'll be done. Mmm... can't wait.
