"We'll see -- but probably," Gregory opined. Either they'd consider it a unique experience, or they'd be too polite to complain. Either way, it'd be a wonderful dinner.

Yansa smiled and kissed Gregory. "I think they're nice though. It's good to have family around."

Gregory kissed back and smiled. "Indeed... I'm glad we're in the same town for a change."

"And they're nice folks, so it's a pleasure to spend time with them. Though your brother's such a nervous person. You seem to have gotten all the confidence in your family. Of course, you've got good reason to be so," Yansa said.

Malone carefully carried a pumpkin pie that he'd made as a contribution to today's dinner as they got out of their car in the driveway.

"I hope Gregory still likes pumpkin pie," he said to Wolf. "He used to love it when we were kids."

"As opposed to going, 'grrr argh I hate pie now I will destroy you'?" Wolf inquired, amused. "Don't worry, it'll be fine."

"He might!" Malone smiled though, because it was a silly thought. Wolf was right- everything would be okay.

He knocked on the door.

Gregory nodded, and then looked up at the sound of the door knocking. "They're here," he announced unnecessarily, before heading over and answering. "Hey, Michael, Wolf -- welcome."
