"Hey there, Sis," Rebecca shouted as she sat down across from Cassie. "What's up? You look kinda down. Do you need a pixie stick? I've had about two dozen of them since this morning, and let me tell you,school doesn't nearly as suck as much as it did when I walked through those doors."

Tina took a seat at the table. It was her first day, and she hated it already. She didn't have friends, and she hadn't seen the one person from town that she had met.

She unpacked her lunch, and tried to look like she didn't care.

Andrew could see Cassie's pout from a mile away. He walked across the cafateria with his tray and sat it down next to her. "Hey, Cassie," he said. "School getting you down?"

Cassie brightened suddenly, as her two favorite people pretty much in the WORLD each sat down by her within a minute or each other.

She looked back and forth between them and grinned.

"Ok, now THIS I can totally deal with. The coolest sister anyone could ask for and the most EXCELLENT boyfriend on Earth, both ready to make me forget I'm eating sludge."

She felt a pang of sadness as she noted the girl sitting a little bit away from them, who looked as lonely as she had only moments earlier. She made a waving motion, trying to get the girl's attention, and made a motion for her to come and join them.

"School has completely sucked, Andy. But! My bad-ass sis is here to give me pixie stix and get me all hyper. Which? Rocks."

"Hi. Today's my first day, so don't ostracize me yet, please?"

Andrew looked over at the girl. "I don't know about Cassie and Reba, but I'm the last person who can ostracize anyone. I'm Andrew, by the way."
