Back to School... ugh.
Who: Cassie, OT any students
When: Wednesday afternoon, lunchtime
Where: SDH cafeteria
To say Cassie Allen wasn't exactly thrilled to be back at school would be an understatement. For one, she was already bored. Her brain, which allowed her to gain knowledge at a level that most humans couldn't comprehend no less emulate, helped her to be a senior at age 14, yet it also made school almost too easy for her most of the time. Secondly... during the summer, she got to hang out with Andrew and his friends. Around them, she was cool. She liked the same things as them, could have fun conversations, play video games with them, and skateboard around their 'headquarters' without them caring. Back at school however, she was the freak, the little kid who was in classes with 17 and 18 year olds. So, to say she got picked on and made fun of? Yeah, that was pretty accurate.
So, back to being a nerd again, Cassie sat at an almost-empty table in the cafeteria (the one pretty much all the friendless people sat at to commiserate), and with a grumpy sigh, shoveled a spoonful of what she assumed was supposed to be mashed potatoes into her mouth.
"...this completely BLOWS."
