[voice; action]

[Russia's voice is as pleasant as ever, but... there is a hint of strain behind it. Almost like he's actively trying to keep his voice cheerful. None should ever take that as a good sign.]

So many disappearances. None that I actively sanctioned.

But it is so good that people are so kind to new arrivals! Sheltering them, even when there are plenty ( Read more... )

[Sorry Russia, you're late for the party!

Mostly because there's a fat nation already in the room, on his back under a desk, hard at work and distracted by screwing something in place. Totally unaware of the fact that a even more obese whale showed up.

He might be humming 'Invincible' by Pat Benetar.]

[For perhaps the FIRST FUCKING TIME, he uses the door normally. So that he can check the window for a way to keep it unlocked/build a trap door under the bed to get to the room. Without knocking, he pokes his head in to see if Belarus is around. If she is, he'll merely write off his intrusion as a friendly visit. If Tony's there... well. He's very resourceful at disposing of bodies.

What he doesn't expect is america.

So Russia just kinda throws the door open. He is in NO GODDAMN MOOD for you right now.]

Get out.

[The voice startles the fuck out of him, because seriously? One, he was srsly concentrating on something, and that takes a lot of brain power.

Two? What is Russia doing here? For a moment he thinks he has the wrong room.

tl;dr Russia slamming open the door startles him and he jumps up in surprise, his forehead heroically thwacking against the underside of the desk he was working on.]

Ow, fuck! What the hell, Russia?!

[Because it's totally normal for him to be in your sister's room.]

[See, Russia doesn't look too suspicious... other than his coat looking a little bulkier than usual. Don't worry, it's only the endless wires and technical equipment he's dragged along to bug the room just like he bugged his present to you in the 40s muahahaha.

He draws a revolver from the depths of his coat and aims at America. For once, he isn't smiling.]

This is my sister's room. Explain yourself.

[He doesn't add "get out" again because he's pretty much settled on either tossing you out ala the croquet match or shooting you. Whichever works.]

[You might hear him, Russia, on the other end, but he's not actually saying anything. That was some scary ass kolkolkoling.]

[Give him a sec to compose himself. Okay. There we go, back to his normal childlike cheer.]

Can I help you?

Ah--

I am. Belarus is my sister. "Family" has different meanings for us. Belarus, Ukraine, and I share a common history, bloodlines, and culture. We are, in that manner, "siblings".

hatebirds October 25 2009, 08:10:09 UTC
Oh... Does that mean China is Japan's sibling?

sunflowersunday October 25 2009, 08:19:17 UTC
Yes. I believe China is Japan's "older brother".

...Do you have siblings?
