[Russia's voice is as pleasant as ever, but... there is a hint of strain behind it. Almost like he's actively trying to keep his voice cheerful. None should ever take that as a good sign.]

[Backing up a bit. He isn't completely defenseless, he has a few people that would come to his aid, maybe even if he provoked the other person. But there is no use in doing that. And he can't always be with a friend or aquaintance, and he doesn't want them to ge thurt, either.]

How does that make a treacherous person?
