Well, this weekend, Kerri, Kathy, Jess, Joni, myself and Kerri's friend Heidi were planning to go Gallery Hopping. But we didn't end up going to the Gallery Hop because of the freezing rain. We had a staff meeting this morning, which worked out pretty well for me. I ended up getting a title change. I am no longer the Assistant Director of Publications, I am the Communications Coordinator. I no longer report to Roger, I report directly to Jennifer. Woo hoo! Turkey and a head injury
Angel and I had a great time at Thanksgiving at my parents' house. It was a good time, and Angel said we are very "jolly." So, it was a great party, Abby was even there. I have a full-blown cold. Yuck. But despite that, Angel and I laughed a lot this weekend. On Saturday, we went to a poker party and took Ante. His 40-year-old host/friend Kurt was "getting too cozy" for Angel's comfort. The man was plastered and flirting with me. When he tried to pull me into his lap, I just scooted by as fast as I could. I just got home from the best concert I've ever seen - Elton John. Liz called me yesterday and asked me to go with her and her husband as they had an extra free ticket. We had a great dance class last night, but now I am DRAGGING. Thank goodness for Julia! Last year, Kathy and I only learned a handful of steps because Barbara was holding us back, but with Julia excelling, she let us advance - FINALLY! She told us to move to the other side of the room. Great weekends and lying neighbors
I had a great weekend! First, I had a lovely dinner with Charlene and Kathy on Friday. Then on Saturday we had a great time at the Gallery Hop with some other girls. Evil dogs
Last night was Beggar's Night, and begging began at 6. The dogs get wound up when the doorbell rings, and I had to go to dance class at 7, so I had an idea. I put my treats - Dum Dums made into smiling tissue ghosts - in a bowl on the porch with a sign that read, "Don't ring the doorbell, or evil dogs you will meet.
