Michael Flatley is on crack.

Well, I had a more exciting weekend than usual. On Friday, I went out with Joni for the first time in MONTHS and we had a great time. I got way too drunk and drunken dialed Angel, complete with hiccups! We went to The Lodge and Varsity Club.

On Saturday, we went to see "Celtic Tiger Starring Michael Flatley." The concept was that it was a music and dance representation of the history of Ireland. I have to admit, I liked the hardshoe-dancing Vikings. But hardshoe-dancing British soldiers? And a burning house with about 25 people in it and Michael Flatley as a priest??? But I didn't completely die laughing until the Aer Lingus (which Angel thought was a dirty word, not an airline) stewardess went to New York, danced seductively for a dozen pilots and then stripped to a red white and blue sequin bikini. In what part of Irish history did the slutty Irish stewardess become a stripper? After that, it just got stranger and stranger, with women dressed as tigers writhing on stage (there are no tigers in Ireland), Flamenco dancers, and lots of laughs from our box. We were in an executive suite thanks to Julia, and thank goodness, because we were all laughing through the whole show! Angel and I went with Kathy and Casey. Casey is hilarious and came up with some of the best one-liners of the night.

Then we all went to The Burgundy Room in the Short North. I was so drunk the night before, I threw my jeans in the laundry with my ID and money in the pocket. At the door, they asked for ID and when I looked for it and realized it was in Friday night's jeans, I thought Angel would kill me, since it took 15 minutes to even find parking! Bu the doorman said sternly, "I guess you are going to have to..." Then he motioned with a big sweep of his hands, "Go right on in!" They confirmed I wasn't a cop by saying they planned to kill Geo W. Bush. When I didn't arrest them, they said, "She's not a cop. Have fun!" Too funny! And too sweet. We had a great time. I just love Julia, she's so FUN!

On Sunday, Angel and I slept in way too late. I came home around 9:30 a.m. because he was pushing me out of bed. He told me later he wanted me to stay. Awwww! I will next week. We both slept in pretty late, and then Angel ran errands and I went to dinner with Kathy. Then I went over to Angel's around 8. He had to meet with some guys about business at 10, so I only got a bit of time with him, but we enjoyed it. :)

That was my weekend!
