Spring update!

There are no truer words than "the merry, merry month of May!" I love Spring, the trees are green with new leaves, some with gorgeous flowering blooms! The scent of Autumn Olive bushes flowering fills the air, it really makes my daily walks all the more enjoyable! The temperatures are in the sixties and seventies, which is perfect for me, though

I love Spring as well. Our temps have been up to the low 70’s, but mostly hovering around low 60’s. Our flowering trees are blooming and leaves have come out everywhere. The autumn olive still hasn’t flowered here, though.

My phone, a Pixel 3a, has been troublesome lately. I’ve had to reset a few times to get it to load email. It’s five years old this month. Maybe time for something new…

It's a cool and wet weekend here. Temps are stuck in the fifties with rain coming this afternoon and all day tomorrow. I hope this doesn't end up being one of those years where there is endless rain all Spring and Summer.

My surgery was done in 2003, but due to a lack of insurance, I was unable to have a colonoscopy done until 2018. The results were very good. If that is the case this time, the doctor performing the test said I won't need another for ten years. I'll be honest though, if the results are all clear again, I likely won't opt for this test again as it does come with risks, so unless there is a reason for it, this is my last one.

Five years for your phone?!? Yikes! It's definitely time for something new! I believe the latest Pixel phone is the Pixel 8. It's not a good idea to keep using your old phone. As it says online: "Both the Pixel 3 and 2 have reached end-of-life, meaning they are not receiving further security updates. This makes it dangerous to use them."
