I went for my regular six month office visit with my primary care doctor this morning. She was literally thrilled with how good my blood pressure has been. I told her that with all the blood pressure medications she has me on, it better be good! I had my second dose of Shingrix (Zoster aka Shingles) vaccine today as well. I had the nurse put the

Congratulations! I hope the calcium isn’t a sign of trouble. I’ve had my shingles shots, and maybe I’ll get a recommendation for the hep even though I’m beyond the range you mention.

The Hepatitis B vaccine is also recommended for people sixty or older, but especially those with other health issues.

When parathyroid hormone levels are normal or low and calcium levels are high, that a sign that hyperparathyroidism could still be an issue. Now, although Lehigh Valley Health Network's scale shows anything over 10.1 as high, other sites list anything over 10.5 as high. I'll see what my doctor says about the results and see where I stand. I'm really not keen on anymore surgery. They found and removed the oversized parathyroid gland, what will they do now, play eeny meeny miny moe with other three? No thanks.
