So I am thinking not one of my friends from my past is on here since most of us have Facebook accounts. I wanted a place to write that could be public but it wouldn't matter if no one read it. the pandemic has left me shell shocked. I have lost so many people and we have all missed our lives or risked our lives when we couldn't stand the isolation

I'm probably one of the few from the early days of LiveJournal who still makes the occasional post. Most posts I also duplicate over at the other place.

I will probanly be back simply out of boredom it sucks we are to old to be cool but not old enough to be vaccenated...

Yeah. Doctor says it may be a few more months wait for me to get the vaccine. Even mom, who is 78, isn't scheduled for her first dose until early March.

As for actual conversations these days, most of mine are in chat rooms during live podcasts. Mom goes to bed early, and the son works nights, so he's sleeping most of the daytime hours. That just leaves me in front of the desktop most of the day, unless I'm watching something on a streaming service.
