oh shit! I'm glad you're ok!

I've had to evacuate my cat for a fire in the building before. That's no fun. The best solution I figured out was to shove him in my coat and zip it up. The scratch marks didn't heal for a few days, but he was contained.

I'n very glad you and Star are okay. So sad about the other cat. I don't have pets, but I couldn't leave them behind either.

thank you. I didn't think twice about taking Star, but.. next time.. ugh. best not to think about it until after it happens.

...also had a near-miss fire nearly a year ago. You can check my blog (02 Nov 07 entry). Maybe it's time to pick up a kitty carry-all on Craigslist...
