Superintendent’s Comment
Wednesday
Today as I was walking along the lower hall after lunch, I bumped into the superintendent.
•
“Were those your horses out on the road on New Year’s Day?”
•
“Yes, unfortunately. We were trying to video them individually, and the gal blocking the driveway stepped back and let them all leave. Were you out that way? Not very many cars passed before I had them back.”
•
“I didn’t see them. I saw their residue.”
•
“Helps melt the ice. I noticed when I came in today that the piles in front of the mailbox all had dry paving around them, whereas the rest of the road still had a good 1/4” coating.”
He walked off, laughing.
