Loved it! Although, I do wish that Giles would have told Buffy to come back to him, rather then cover it up with an "us". Awesome job!

Thank you! Glad you liked it!

I think, even as he was saying it, the possible romantic connotations suddenly hit him and he panicked a little and backtracked. He was able to get it out the second time. ;-)

I love the end. It's so very bittersweet. =)

Thank you! I wanted to make everyone's connections with Anya stronger, so it was clear that it wasn't just Xander who would mourn her.

You had me at this: Did not even seem to feel that her forgiveness was required. Mistakes and bad judgment calls happen no matter how pure your intentions, as far as she was concerned. She didn’t seem to recognize how rare her generosity and kindness actually was. But then, that’s was why she was the hero. 100% yes.

Lovely fill, with some interesting details we didn't get in canon.

Thank you so much!! I do love Buffy so and wanted so much more happiness for her then those last few seasons seemed to want to provide.

Thank you!! That's high praise!

Those last episodes felt really rushed and left me with so many questions! It's like ran out of time, but tried to fit everything in, mostly at the expense of exposition and of our favorite characters. It's been the Core Four since the very beginning and it would have been nice if they remembered that beyond a throw-away scene.

They hit too hard with the Bangel stuff and then had to swing back just as hard with Spuffy stuff. They were trying to do too much in too short of a time. They should have scrapped the whole "throw Buffy out of the house" ridiculousness because there is no way that they could resolve that in three episodes. It felt like they threw everybody under the bus so the Spike could have his moment. (And I say this as someone who shipped Buffy with the souled version Spike for the longest time ( ... )
