Thank you!! That's high praise!

Those last episodes felt really rushed and left me with so many questions! It's like ran out of time, but tried to fit everything in, mostly at the expense of exposition and of our favorite characters. It's been the Core Four since the very beginning and it would have been nice if they remembered that beyond a throw-away scene.

They hit too hard with the Bangel stuff and then had to swing back just as hard with Spuffy stuff. They were trying to do too much in too short of a time. They should have scrapped the whole "throw Buffy out of the house" ridiculousness because there is no way that they could resolve that in three episodes. It felt like they threw everybody under the bus so the Spike could have his moment. (And I say this as someone who shipped Buffy with the souled version Spike for the longest time ( ... )

I always saw Empty Places/Touched as a character bashing Spuffy fic.
Yeah, I can totally see that. The sad thing is that the Spike's speech still would have totally had worked without everyone having to go bizzaro and throw Buffy out. She didn't need to have the world against her, just just needed to have her faith in herself at an all-time low.

I've put it in my memories so that I will rec it when time comes for the 2016 Buffyverse Top Five.

WOW!! Thank you!! *blushes*

Sorry about your Tumblr situation. Creating another blog for fandom will be so much of a pain, too.

It okay. It's actually not that bad. I'm just being preventative for the future. (I'm also an old fogey who is extra cautious what she posts on the "interwebs" as a general rule.)
