I didn't walk to work in the end yesterday. There were a few trains running so I slid hiked up to the station in the pitch dark and nearly got frostbite. I sort of jest. My toes were in agony and I felt quite tearful by the time I got to work. Buses are running again now so things are much easier. The snow remains and more is on its way. ( Read more... )

True Blood fan here, though I have only seen season 1 and therefore have to stay aloof from TB-fandom related stuff for fear of spoilers.

Hurrah! I think season 2 should be starting fairly soon. I hope you enjoy it! I'm a bit worried about spoilers for the books. Will have to read them quickly!

I'm not bothering with the books. Knowing that some of the stuff I enjoy most in the TV series isn't even in the books has put me off reading them.

As for season 2, since I don't have Sky, I shall have to wait until Channel 4 show it.

Another TB fan here. I've seen both seasons and can't wait to see more! I've also read the first two books. I have the rest of them too but haven't gotten around reading them yet. Don't really know which one I prefer, the series or the books. Both have their good sides. Won't say more so that I don't accidentally spoil anything.

Unfortunately not into the fandom that deep so no idea about fics or much else. There's just been quite a lot of squeeing over certain blond vampire. I'm sure you are going to like season two. *g*

OMG YAY! Eric is so amazing, and after seeing season 2 of TB I can't see how anyone can't ship Eric/Godric, it's practically canon. You are going to love it, I ship pretty much Eric/Everybody :D

It really is practically canon. Love Eric and totally fell for Godric the moment I saw him. I love the dynamic between them, totally not what you'd expect it to be.
