Snow, iPhone, Vampire Viking
I didn't walk to work in the end yesterday. There were a few trains running so I slid hiked up to the station in the pitch dark and nearly got frostbite. I sort of jest. My toes were in agony and I felt quite tearful by the time I got to work. Buses are running again now so things are much easier. The snow remains and more is on its way. Temperatures are set to drop some more and I feel paranoid about our boiler packing up like it did last year.
My iPhone arrived today and I've been playing. I love it already! Unfortunately my new sim card is stuck in the post somewhere so have to wait until I can use the phone properly. My current sim doesn't have 3G and it doesn't pull my phonebook through onto the new phone, but I have been practicing with text messaging and I love the way the iPhone stacks a conversation. I have named my phone Eric and it seems to suit him.
That brings me to my final discussion. I. Love. Eric. Northman. Muchly. The obsession grows daily. I'm thinking I'd like to read Eric/Sam or Eric/Godric. Maybe Eric/Jason, but maybe not. I'll admit I've imagined Eric/Draco Malfoy. I usually find imagining a crossover is a symptom of fast-approaching fandom love. I've been a fan of True Blood for a while but when I re-watched season 1 at Christmas, my love sprouted wings and covered everything in sparkles. Pretty. Any TB fans on my flist? Any recs for fic or comms? I've just started reading the books, but am only halfway through the first one, so no spoilers please!
