I'm feeling the same. Those pics have fired me up with an intensity of Torchwood love! I cannot *believe* I didn't go (because my real life Torchwood-loving friend said she didn't want to go to any conventions - sob!) I've only listened to about half the S! commentaries myself, sadly no Gareth and John together yet. That's what I'd love too.

The books - I've only read one so far - Another Life. I always assumed they weren't canon but then I've heard other people talking about things in them as if they *are* canon. What do you think?

Oh noes! How cruel! When the next big TW convention rolls round we'll have to do a mass Livejournal expedition there, a nice big gang of us. Hee!

Another Life was okay. I wasn't too keen on any of the first three. The second three (Trace Memory, Something in the Water and The Twilight Streets) are fantastic. I recently read the unofficial guides to season one and two (Inside the Hub and Something in the Darkness) and they seem to take the books as canon. My personal opinion is that it's absolutely canon unless something in the series itself contradicts it.

That's a good way to look at it. On your recommendation I'm going to read the second three. I'm too obsessed with Ianto though to read the other two from the first lot, if he's not in them much! And yes yes for the LJ con expedition :-D

LOL, I totally understand that! I think you'll like the ones I rec'd. I just started on the third three today and read Skypoint. It was very good. Heavy on Tosh and Owen, and Ianto could have been in it more, but he does have some excitement and some funny moments. Good stuff.

And yes yes for the LJ con expedition :-D

The last two episodes of series one have commentaries with John. CC and CW are the only ones with Gareth.

I know...I want to go to a TW con...there's another in may...not that for me that will matter since I'm assuming I'd still need to get to the U.K...I need a job so I can do these things...Did you see the post with all the quotes from the con? by Dancy-Dreamer. I am slightly shocked the anyone thought bringing kids was a good idea though...shouldn't seeing JB on just one talk show clear up what a bad idea that is? Add GDL

I can't remember exactly where I've seen the spoilers now. I get most of my info from following links on torchwood_three. They haven't said exactly what will happen, but enough bits of info to piece some things together and keep us guessing. Very exciting!

Yeah, you'd be better off waiting. Amazon won't have stock for probably about another 10 days yet.

They've announced the next three books due next May. Yays! Poor Ianto, haha.

I have to say the pics of the con are great. The guy who plays Ianto looks much better live as on TV. Now I can understand your adoration and the drool factor of him and Jack going at it :D
Torchwood is not running here. But thanks to the net I watched the whole episode with James Masters. The bar kiss n fight was great.

LOL, yeah, I'm still in fangirl heaven. Gareth, who plays Ianto, is so gorgeous. I love him truly!!

There is a second episode that had James Marsters in, the last one of season two, Exit Wounds. He was brilliant, again.
