Pre-series what-if-Ianto-and-Jack-met-years-before AU. Guh and Auw. I'm not big on AU's in this fandom (mainly because there's so much that can be done with canon), but this is going down as a favourite fic ever.

It's such a beautiful fic. I'm astounded everyday at the quality of fic in this fandom. Sometimes you have to dig to find it, but it's so there!

Yes. Very. But it has a lovely bittersweet ending and Harry is so sweet and caring.
