Harvey sat in front of his computer, fingers pressed against his lips in a thoughtful pose as stared at the image in front of him, the same one that held his attention for the past fifteen minutes, at a loss as to what to make of this development.

He had been partaking in his weekly guilty pleasure when he came across the photo. It was a picture of a familiar golden yellow tie, knotted as if someone had just slipped the garment out from under a shirt collar then placed artfully onto a dark wood table. There were rings of coffee stains and smudges littering the edges and words written in dark ink bordered the upper right and lower left corner of the picture that read: ‘I've been in love with my boss for months, but I'll never have the courage to tell him.’The confession seemed innocent

He could always ignore this revelation; hope that whatever Mike was feeling would go away. However, given that Mike had actually mailed the postcard in suggested that Mike needed to get this big secret off his chest. There was also the issue that Mike had used the word ’love’ instead of ’crush’. These facts clued Harvey in that Mike’s feelings were no small matter that could be dealt with by ignoring it
