Mike submits a secret to PostSecret - it's a picture of one of Harvey's ties, and it says "I've been in love with my boss for months, but I'll never have the courage to tell him."

Little does Mike know, Harvey is a closet PostSecret fan, and that tie was custom-made.

Harvey had been through enough romantic relationships (pseudo or otherwise) to know that his feelings for the kid didn’t span that far into ‘love’ territory just yet. He respected Mike, valued his contribution to him and the firm, enjoyed his company and continued to be pleasantly surprised when Mike exhibited his talent, ingenuity and passion for his work ( ... )

Aw this is adorable! Post secret is totally my guilty pleasure. I've always wanted to send one in but I'm too scared someone I know will recognize it. Like in this! Haha. But great start, I can't wait for more!

Thank you for your encouragement. :) I'll probably de-anon when I re-post this on my journal, after I've cleaned it up for any mistakes and have someone beta read it over for me.

Though I have a feeling that I would de-anon totally by accident because I forgot to log out before posting. lol. x_x

Throughout the week, Harvey was nothing short of affectionate and sensitive to Mike’s needs. With his charm in full effect, he gave Mike ‘good morning’s’ and ‘see you later’s’ and ‘good job, Roookie’s’. He held doors open, taught Mike how to fill out forms and waited while Mike grabbed lunch. He even went so far as to refrain from insulting Mike’s skinny ties, a great hardship that Harvey patiently endured and might have been what tipped Donna off to the fact that Harvey was up to something.

“You’re up to something.” Donna said with a conspiratorial grin as Harvey stopped by her cubicle.

“What makes you say that?” Harvey asked as he placed his hands on the half-walls of Donna’s space.

“Well, let’s see.” Donna swivelled her chair so that she was now giving Harvey her full attention. “Other than the fact that you didn’t say anything about Mike’s ties this week, you had lunch with him every day since Monday, had Ray drive him all the way across the city to meet with a client, and frankly, even I thought you were a little too ( ... )

Damn you lj and your comment character limit!Harvey found Mike at his cubicle, standing with his hip against his desk and his back to the rest of the room as he talked with Rachel. Harvey pondered the best way to interject their conversation but Mike saved him from making that decision. Despite not being in Mike’s line of sight, the kid seemed to know immediately when Harvey entered the area, perking up as he turned to Harvey with a smile and a wave before quickly saying his goodbyes to Rachel. Harvey would be lying if he said he wasn’t pleased by Mike’s reactions to his presence ( ... )
