Because of [insert reason of varying plausibility here], Mike and Harvey get married. It's purely a business transaction, for a set period of time, etc. Some people know it's basically a sham (Jessica, Donna, maybe Rachel), but for everyone else, they have to sell the idea that they really are together (I feel like they would actually have a lot of fun doing this...)

Cue shenanigans, and the inevitable falling in love/realising their true feelings for each other.

(I don't care how cliche this trope is IT'S MY FAVOURITE)
