Luc would approach Sarah from the opposite direction. He didn't say anything; he simply took the time to sit down next to her, and placed his hand on top of hers, stroking the back of her palm with his thumb.
The very instant she was approached, she was in very deep thought but a sudden warmth beside her had shaken her out of concentration. Her eyes lit up a little when she noticed that Luc was there, even a small hue of pink crossed her cheeks very briefly," Are you well, Master Luc?" Sarah stopped what she was doing and her hand that was free rested on top of his own hand.
"I'm much better now, thank you," he said, scooting closer to her. Well... not entirely better. He would have liked to know why they were alive, how they were teleported, and why they were in the future. His quip about fate certainly wasn't an adequate explanation, to him. Sarah couldn't have done it; sure, she could teleport others, but at the time she was drained of energy, and from what he knew, she wasn't capable of time travel.
Luc raised his eyes to look into hers. "What about you?" he asked, simply.
Sarah was humbled that he acted like he cared so deeply for her, but she was partial to knowing that he was using her to some degree. She never cared about that, only that he was still alive and she could still be with him.

"I'm fine."
The same answer she always gave.
