Luc would approach Sarah from the opposite direction. He didn't say anything; he simply took the time to sit down next to her, and placed his hand on top of hers, stroking the back of her palm with his thumb.
The very instant she was approached, she was in very deep thought but a sudden warmth beside her had shaken her out of concentration. Her eyes lit up a little when she noticed that Luc was there, even a small hue of pink crossed her cheeks very briefly," Are you well, Master Luc?" Sarah stopped what she was doing and her hand that was free rested on top of his own hand.
"I'm much better now, thank you," he said, scooting closer to her. Well... not entirely better. He would have liked to know why they were alive, how they were teleported, and why they were in the future. His quip about fate certainly wasn't an adequate explanation, to him. Sarah couldn't have done it; sure, she could teleport others, but at the time she was drained of energy, and from what he knew, she wasn't capable of time travel.
Luc raised his eyes to look into hers. "What about you?" he asked, simply.
Sarah was humbled that he acted like he cared so deeply for her, but she was partial to knowing that he was using her to some degree. She never cared about that, only that he was still alive and she could still be with him.
He may have been before, but he had no reason to use her now. There really wasn't anything to use her for.
"Sarah," Luc said, tilting his head while not breaking his gaze. "Are you okay with... staying here?" Yes, he was actually asking for her input, and not making decisions without it. "We're fugitives, Sarah. War criminals. If it was discovered we were alive, every country on this continent would be willing to turn us in, if not kill us themselves."
Sarah was thinking about what he had said for a long minute before making up her mind, she was never one for rash decision making. When she was finally sure of it, she turned her hips so she was facing him,"...If we are War Criminals....then we will be found out no matter where we go. --A place is a place."
Luc had nothing to say to that. It was true. He thought for a solid minute, stroking the back of Sarah's hand with his thumb, before sighing, shaking his head, and saying that only thing that made sense to him at the moment. "Alright," Luc said, his eyes closing. "We need to talk to Jillia Blight."
"...Jillia? She was killed wasn't she? I believe she is dead, what are you talking about?" Clearing her throat, she moved a little so she could get closer to Luc and look over the hand that was on top of her own. Luc was never really affectionate so this new territory was welcome.
Luc shook his head. "Jowy Atreides-Blight never sacrificed the queen of Highland. His sacrifice to the Beast Rune was an elaborate ruse." He was feeling strangely affectionate; having time to reflect on being given a second chance by fate, after what he assumed was his last moments alive with Sarah, really hit home. He wasn't going to waste his time with her again.
"When I was a Bishop-General, I had learned of several people hiding within Harmonia. I had looked at the information, hoping to find someone who could lead me to the Flame Champion's hideout before I came up with a more detailed plan. Jillia Blight was hiding in Harmonia." Luc shook his head, though, dreading the idea of going back there. "We'll never make it there, though."
Turning her head, she tilted it at an angle, kind of confused but accepted the reason,"Her appearance could cause Havoc, shouldn't we be extremely careful?" For a moment, she thought to herself and raised her eyes to the sky, like she did whenever she needed to come up with an answer," I could....teleport us in Harmonia, briefly?" Sarah's cheeks flushed pink from Lu's affection.
Never in one thousand year did she think he would care about her as she did for him.
"No," Luc answered. "I am positive she will return here as well." How could she not? This was her city, after all. And it was likely either her or Luca, and if there was any sort of a merciful god watching over this world, it was going to be Jillia instead of that monster.
"...That sound problematic, what was your plan to do with Jillia Blight?" Sarah tilted her head to the opposing side while she thought deeply about this for a second but she could not come up with why Jillia was needed,"Do you think she would pardon us?"
"Jillia needs my knowledge of Harmonia," Luc said simply. "Tir McDohl and Sierra Mikain are here as well. It's only a matter of time before Harmonia finds out that three True Runes are only a mile away from their borders."

"I'm fine."
The same answer she always gave.
