Short, concise description of the idea
Parse an alternative string equivalently to newlines in email posts.

Full description of the ideaOn my phone, it is not possible to send a newline in an outgoing message. This makes it impossible for me to specify options on a per-message basis; since the command is not ( Read more... )

my phone is a motorola razr v3xx, and it was brand new in march. it's not new phone time, and it shouldn't be for several years.

I'm sure there's going to be someone out there who wanted "lj-mood: emo" and "lj-tags: feel my pain" at the beginning of their posts, instead of being parsed as metadata.

LIKE ME. Having it in the metadata just isn't enough because not everyone reads that. I WANT THE WHOLE WORLD TO KNOW OF MY ANGUISH AND SUFFERING.

Seriously, though, if there's some way to implement this as an option, I'm all for it.
