Last I heard, ScrapBook does accept some types of video as uploads, although I have heard something about ScrapBook not playing them, or not embedding them nicely.

I think the user is specifically looking for he records a video on his phone and it posts as an entry... which adds in the need to develop an embedded player for video content from SB.

Definitely a good idea!

Scrapbook can already host videos, so adding such support isn't necessary for this suggestion. And having an embedded video player doesn't seem to be part of this suggestion, so the fact that creating such a thing would be really hard isn't relevant.

Especially because this can be done independently of whether or not embedding works. Be like the old school voice-post days :)
