Short, concise description of the idea
Using the lynx scheme, the standard search by email, IM contact info, etc. doesn't appear. It also isn't on the site map. So, either the search or a link to it should.
Full description of the idea
As we encourage users to use the schemes that best suit their particular needs, we need to make sure that any information that is normally obtainable through a scheme is easily accessible in other ways. The best way to do this is to make the site map thorough and push the site map through Support whenever we might otherwise give scheme specific directions.
An ordered list of benefits

Increased usefulness and thoroughness of the Site Map.

More exposure of it to users through Support.

Better support for users using the Lynx scheme.

More flexability in the design of future schemes, since schemes will not be bearing the burden of information distribution.

An ordered list of problems/issues involved

The larger the site map gets, the harder it is to fins a particular item of interest. However, there is a search category where this would fit nicely and naturally.

I'm not sure how possible it is to add this search... if there is any page that has it. It may be technically difficult and more effort than it is worth.
