I think it would be helpful if we could see our entries that are currently currently awaiting moderation and edit or delete them.

+1 times a thousand. I've done this so many times with forgetting tags, or cuts, or typos or something, then I gotta wait a week for it to be approved, remember what the problem was and fix it. This way works much much much better
