Title
Editing/Deleting Moderation Queue Entries

Short, concise description of the idea
I think it would be helpful if we could see our entries that are currently currently awaiting moderation and edit or delete them.

Full description of the idea
I can't tell you how many times I've submitted an entry for moderation in a community and realized right afterward that I forgot an lj-cut or something just as important. I think we should be able to see a list of entries that are currently in queue and edit them or even just delete them if we've changed our mind.

This would also help the moderators since the entries will be more prepared for moderation and they won't have to ask the posters to fix it and re-post. Some moderators are really on top of their queue, so posters may not get a chance to edit their post, but in the cases of mods who aren't on top of their queues, it cuts down on a lot of waiting time for the posters when they know their entry needs some editing.

Additionally, I think that when moderated entries are declined by a mod based only on formatting or a missing detail, there should be an option to let the original poster edit that existing entry. Sometimes there's a lot of html involved and it's easier to just edit the existing entry.
An ordered list of benefits
  • More control over your own entries.
  • Easier tracking of which posts have been approved and which have yet to be.
  • Less work for the moderators as well as the posters.
An ordered list of problems/issues involved
  • Overlapping of mods who are trying to approve the entry while the poster is editing the entry. The entry might need to be frozen and/or invisible somehow while it's being edited.
