Full description of the ideaI appreciate your concern for privacy by making only public LJ entries able to be cross-posted to facebook, but I would hope that sometime in the near future, private entries will have this option as well. I don't want to make my LJ ( Read more... )

Facebook privacy settings are a nightmare, and change randomly, exposing previously-private information to the world.

I understand why this could/would be a pain in the ass to implement, but I have also wished for a way to cross-post my friends-only LJ entries to FB.

Private entries on LJ are readable by you (the journal owner) only. I don't see why it would matter either way whether you crosspost them to Facebook in any fashion. If. however, as I suspect, you don't mean "private" but "friends-only", I would want assurances that no comments I left on said entries could end up on Facebook, in part or in whole, except by deliberate copying and pasting
